In this blog post, Adele shares the launch of ‘Well at work’ inc a great collaboration with the NHP
What is Well at Work?
The Well at Work online 24/7 package has been created to help organisations/teams to be happier, healthier and well at work.
Sadly, stress related illness and mental health issue are on the rise. The Mental Health Foundation states that approximately 1 in 6 people in the UK are experiencing a mental health problem at any given time. Physical health issues are becoming more prevalent too. Many of us now spend long hours each day sitting at a desk or looking at a screen. This can cause musculoskeletal problems and reduced energy levels.
The Well at Work package has been designed to support employers and business owners to address this worrying and growing trend. Employers can sometimes find it difficult to know how best to support their teams with their mental and physical health. This can be especially tricky if people find it hard to speak out and open up about the support that they need.
Introducing Well at Work
The Well at Work programme is a flexible & holistic approach to employee wellness.
So often, workplace wellbeing initiatives just focus on one aspect of health and wellbeing which only makes them relevant to a small percentage of the workforce. Well at Work uses the practice and principles of yoga to provide a more rounded approach to wellness. Yoga is one of the few forms of activity out there that supports both the body and the mind. From help with aches and pains to managing stress and anxiety, there’s something in this programme for everybody.
Through the Well at Work package teams can expect to experience:
Improved mental health
Stress reduction
Improved physical health
Increased productivity

Client testimonial: The North Halifax Partnership (NHP)
The NHP invested in the Well at Work programme for 50 employees in April 2024. Supporting employee wellness and wellbeing within their organisation had become a priority and an area they wanted to invest in. They were looking to fund a project that would support the whole team which was split across different office locations, in addition to various shift patterns and hybrid working too.
Through some initial consultations and the agreement to collaborate, NHP decided that the Well at Work program from Adeles Yoga was the perfect solution for them. Here are some of the comments we received from those who took part:
Easy to use: “I signed up to the Well at Work yoga sessions through NHP and found them easy to access and follow.”
Try something new: “I am really grateful to NHP and Adele Wills as I had not had the opportunity to try yoga before.”
Convenient: “I enjoyed the yoga sessions, including the shorter sessions that fit into my day.”
Real impact: “The yoga sessions with Adele Wills have helped improve my health – both physical and mental.
Well at Work just got even better!
I’m always happy to get feedback on how the wellbeing offerings I share could be even better. I love to have my finger on the pulse as it helps me to shape and mould the solutions I create in a way that makes the content super valuable and useful. And so I am very grateful for the feedback the teams at NHP provided me which were:
Q. I’d like more shorter practices for when I don’t have time to do a full hour
A: Completely agree! ACTIONED! I’ve now added 12 videos to the online library which are between 1min – 7min in length, bite sized wellness practices that can be done anywhere and anytime. There are also 12 videos within the library that are 20min practices. Boom!
Q: I’d like to be given a bit more guidance on what to do / which practices to try as access to the whole library was great but i wasn’t sure where to start?
A: Fantastic idea, and consider that ACTIONED! When a business now signs up to Well at Work they get a welcome video explaining how it all works and how to get involved. And then, importantly, everyone will get suggestions, hints and tips by email from Adele throughout the duration of the program.
Q: What the heck is ‘Prana’? And ‘Hatha’? These terms within the video titles mean nothing to me!
A: Ooh don’t you just love the directness of us Yorkshire folk? I really love this feedback and it’s a real leveler for me, because absolutely YES I agree. You don’t need to be a yoga philosopher or to have ever done a yoga practice before in your life to get involved in this package. Everybody can access all the wonderful benefits, tools and techniques from this wellbeing offering. I love the old phrase of “say it as it is” – it’s something I appreciate and value generally in life – and so yes this needs to be factored into the wording of all the video titles for sure. Humbly ACTIONED!
